Your Health Is Your Responsibilty

America you’re in a bad spot
Whether you like it or not
Burgers, beer and fries
Are making you supersize
And your bellies are going to pot

More than two thirds of Americans are overweight. Think about that for a moment. The health of people in America is getting worse every year and the price of health care is skyrocketing. Americans are just not taking their health serious enough. This can’t go on; in time it will bankrupt us as a country.
Americans have abdicated their health to their doctors and the drug companies. High blood pressure? Here take a pill. Diabetes? Here take a pill. Pharmaceutical companies with the help of doctors are making billions and billions of dollars off the poor health of our citizens.

So what’s the answer? The answer is we are responsible for our own health. Don’t let your doctor keep giving you pills for everything. Ask him/her what the problem is and what needs to be done to correct it. Then do it! What you eat and what you do directly affects your health. Those are facts not theory. Are you weighing more than you should for your height and age? Then you are eating too much. Stop eating so much. Are you losing muscle mass? Your muscles are meant to be used and they deteriorate if you don’t. Walk more, do some exercises, get active. It’s not rocket science; you have to work on yourself yourself. Don’t expect someone else to do the work for you. Stop being an ATM for the drug companies.
Your body is like your car. If there is smoke coming out of your exhaust pipe that means something is wrong with the engine, it needs to be repaired. If you let some scam mechanic sell you a smoke diffuser for your car it will stop the smoke coming out of your exhausts pipe but the problem with your engine is still there. The problem will only get worse because you are neglecting to fix the root cause of the smoke. The same goes for your body. If you have diabetes or high blood pressure there is something wrong inside your body. Just taking a pill doesn’t fix the problem it only masks the symptoms. The problem will only get worse. Don’t look to the drug companies for a solution. Their solution is just to give you more expensive pills.
I say enough of that! It’s time for Americans to take responsibility for their health!
Let’s do it - now!
Your Health Is Your Responsibility!
